Next Book for Lit
The students have finished The Hunger Games. Our next book is a non-fiction biography of Alexander Hamilton, that is kind of a junior high version of the book by Ron Chernow that the famous musical was based upon. The students need to have a copy or e-copy by Monday, November 2nd. Good news: You don't have to buy it because I have copies for everyone. Bad news: Of course, picking the book up is the issue. I told the students that I'm willing to pass them out during office hours from 2-3 PM this coming Tuesday and Thursday. I will pass them out at my house located at 254 Wilshire Ave. in Daly City. It's basically across the golf course from the school. Each book is numbered so if you want to pick one up for friends, please just let me know the name when you pick yours up. Tuesday Photo Day for 7G
In last Wednesday's newsletter, there was a complete set of instructions from the photographer and the front office about our scheduled Photo Day on Tuesday. Here is a brief recap for our class, but I am including a link to the fuller explanation right HERE 7th Grade is scheduled for 11:30-11:50 AM on Tuesday, October 13th. Photo Day Directions All parents and students must wear masks while on campus and waiting for photos. Parents, please arrive just minutes before the scheduled time. Street parking only (white zone and surrounding parking). Siblings may take their photos during the same time slot. Teachers will arrive in front of school 5 minutes before time for photos to supervise their arriving students. Students will pick up photo tickets then get in line for photo.
